The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Employers
How long does international recruitment take through the SINP?
Nomination through SINP: Currently, successful SINP applications for nomination are assessed within 4 – 8 months. The average time from making the SINP application to receiving a permanent resident visa is approximately 8 – 12 months. Please note processing times may change.
Permanent Residence through Federal Government: Please keep in mind that once the SINP has nominated an applicant, that person must then apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada for a permanent resident visa and processing times at Canadian Embassies abroad vary. Part of Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s processing will include health, security and criminal reviews. Citizenship and Immigration Canada may also request any additional information that it deems appropriate at any time during the application process. This may include asking Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) nominees to submit International Language Testing System test results. However, successful SINP applications typically receive visas considerably quicker than individuals applying through federal immigration classes.
