The 8th Annual Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum was held in Saskatoon on April 12 & 13, 2016. The forum brings together all major operating mines in Saskatchewan with local, national and international suppliers. There were over 1,100 in attendance including approximately 200 mining personnel.

Over 20 presentations were given. All major mining companies provided updates on operations and construction, as well as procurement sessions on goods and services requirements.

The event is a partnership between The Ministry of the Economy, Saskatchewan Mining Association (SMA) and the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA). Presentations and the forum program can be found on the SMA website by following the link below.

The 4th Annual Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum was held in Saskatoon on April 4, 2012. The forum was attended by over 500 people representing mining companies, engineering firms and the mining supply chain. Mining and consultant companies presented on how to become a preferred supplier to the mining industry. New to the forum was a supplier tradeshow that had over 65 suppliers to the mining industry from across North America showcasing their products and services.

The 3rd Annual Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum was held in Saskatoon on April 13, 2011. Over 360 participants heard from mining companies on various project and operations updates. Mining and consultant companies discussed opportunities in the supply chain. Participants also heard about the success of partnerships with First Nations and Métis from businesses supplying to the mining industry.
